Payment and Data Security
IALEIA is committed to the highest standards of data security for our members and donors. Our association follows the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to ensure your financial information is protected.
How We Process Payments:
Online Payments: All credit card transactions on www.ialeia.org are processed via a secure "Hosted Payment" integration with Authorize.net. Your sensitive financial data is entered directly into their secure servers and never touches our website or internal computers.
Accounting & Manual Processing: For administrative processing, IALEIA utilizes web-based, secure accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online). No credit card numbers are stored on our local office machines or personal computers.
Reporting & Data Minimization:
IALEIA follows a policy of "Data Minimization." Our financial reports only display the last four digits of a credit card number for reconciliation purposes. We do not store full primary account numbers (PAN), CVV codes, or PINs in our cloud storage (OneDrive) or accounting records.
Quarterly Auditing:
Our systems are audited quarterly by an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) to ensure that our digital environment remains secure against emerging threats.
