Mr. Bill Brown, Professional Development Director, who introduced the awardees by speaking about the accomplishments for which they were being recognized for. IALEIA President, Ritchie Martinez and Awards Chairman Ed Feingold handed out the awards.

The Awards Committee spent many hours in reviewing the material of organizations and individuals submitted for the awards program. This is not an easy task and the members of the Committee should be congratulated for their contribution. The Committee members are: Mr. John Smith (United States), Mr. Christopher Clark (Australia), Mr. Francisco Badenes (Brazil), Mr. Mark Grimshaw (United Kingdom), Mr. Paul Zendrowski (Canada), and Mr. Marcel Neefe (Netherlands).
IALEIA 2011 AWARDS PROGRAM
IALEIA accepts nominations for exceptional achievements by analysts, executives and organizations in the field of law enforcement intelligence. This is an opportunity to recognize peers, employees, and leaders in the field for their accomplishments which normally go unsung in the general community. Please take advantage of this opportunity to bring attention to those performing above and beyond expectations to the benefit of the law enforcement community.

Questions may be directed to Ed by phone: (202) 648-8595, fax: (202) 648-9682, or e-mail at Edward.Feingold@atf.gov. Scoring will be on a scale from 1-5 with the minimum passing score of 21 out of a possible 30 points for each award category.
Each nomination must be accompanied by at least one letter from a second individual or agency that contains detailed documentation of support. Self nomination is not allowed. Submissions must have the permission of the agency or company for which the analytical work was done. Submitters need not be IALEIA members and the person or agency nominated does not need to be affiliated with IALEIA. Agencies or individuals cannot receive the same award in more than two consecutive years for the same publication (e.g. different issues of the same periodical). Telephone and fax numbers, and addresses of the nominee and the person submitting the nomination must be provided; e-mail address is also desired.
All submissions must be postmarked no later than December 15, 2010. No exceptions will be made for late entries in order to provide adequate time for judging and award preparation.

2007 IALEIA PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AWARDS
This year’s program was a resounding success. There were nineteen award applications submitted by IALEIA members from five countries. The presentations of the awards took place at the IALEIA-LEIU Conference held in Vancouver, Canada. Not all award recipients could make it to Vancouver; however, other members of their agencies were available to receive them in their absence.
