Criminal Intelligence for the 21st Century

The "Criminal Intelligence for the 21st Century" book is now available! This is a joint publication by the Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Units (LEIU) and the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA). This new guide is an update to Intelligence 2000: Revising the Basic Elements and contains 476 pages divided into 27 chapters/articles. The new book not only updates the previous information—it adds 16 new chapters/articles. A group of 25 expert intelligence practitioners authored the articles/chapters. This book is a valuable resource for any intelligence professional seeking to understand and hone their craft.

JOURNAL OF STRATEGIC SECURITY - CALL FOR PAPERS

Henley-Putnam University publishes a peer-reviewed academic journal, Journal of Strategic Security (JSS). The journal is published quarterly. The purpose of JSS is to create an academic forum for scholarship and discussion of the larger issues of security from a multi-disciplinary perspective, combining the fields of intelligence, terrorism/counterterrorism studies, and personal protection, among others.

JSS accepts unsolicited query letters, book reviews, and well-written scholarly papers on all aspects of strategic security. We welcome submissions from students, professionals, and scholars in intelligence, military, law enforcement, government, academia, and the private sector. If you have a proposal for a paper or a completed manuscript, feel free to submit it for consideration according to the instructions below.
