The following institutions of formal higher education provide intelligence analysis or criminal justice programs.

Faculty must submit supporting documentation, including a list of the criminal justice/intelligence program faculty, a list of the courses offered, and a review of research projects and periodicals available through the program.

Academic memberships are for each institution; however, each institution's program has a contact person.

JHU's Division of Public Safety Leadership offers a Master's of Science in Intelligence Analysis.

Our program works with active Intelligence Analysts from members of Law Enforcement agencies and from member agencies of the federal Intelligence Community (IC). Our focus is to enable the students to be better leaders within the profession and to contribute to the development of the profession. We are particularly interested in the nexus between Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts and members of the IC. Our cohort approach is a proven, time-tested way to build the networks of contacts and trust that break down traditional stovepipes and resolve problems. The Division's motto is "Learn Together, Lead together."

Utica College offers a suite of programs under the banner of Economic Crime and Justice Studies (ECJS). Utica College's academic programs are in criminal justice, economic crime and cybersecurity. These programs focus on both the theoretical and practical aspect of each discipline. A theory-into-practice formula is applied to the ECJS curriculum, which allows students increasing involvement in theory, research, and practice culminating in a capstone experience. Hands-on work and the acquisition of practical knowledge is emphasized. In addition to its academic programs, the College houses the Economic Crime Institute, the Center for Identity Management and Information Protection and the Computer Forensics Research and Development Center.
